Second Arts In Mission Conference dates announced

THE SECOND Arts In Mission Conference is to be held at The Hayes Conference Centre, Swanwick, Derbyshire, on 3rd to 5th February. The title of the event is 'Giants And Grasshoppers'. Workshops and seminars will cover every aspect of the arts. Musicians contributing include Bryn Haworth and Martyn Joseph.

Said Arts In Mission's co-ordinator Hermione Thompson, "There is a huge growth in interest among Christians in using the arts to express their faith, but little understanding and experience of how to go about it. Christian artists often feel as insignificant as grasshoppers as they struggle against giants of misunderstanding, and even prejudice, to use their gifts.
