Amy Grant leaves A&M, begins work on 'Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus' album.
CHRISTENDOM'S most popular female singer Amy Grant has announced she had officially departed from A&M Records, her long-time mainstream label home, because she "didn't fit" anymore. The singer is currently in the American Christian Music charts with the compilation 'Greatest Hits 1986-2004'. The album will not be released in the UK due to contractual problems.
Meanwhile, the singer has announced that her next album will be a hymns project, 'Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus'. Amy promises that the album will be "edgier" than 'Legacy' and is scheduled for spring 2005 release.
