Amy Grant quizzed by her peers in latest CCM magazine.
IN THE June issue of America's CCM magazine singing star Amy Grant took over as guest editor. Included in the magazine was a feature where 25 recording artists asked the CCM star a question each. They included Joy Williams, who asked Amy who she sang along to into her hairbrush when she was growing up ("Early Jackson Five, Carole King, Bette Midler") Michael Card, who asked why she didn't write more songs ("I have an enormous attention deficit in the songwriting arena right now") Steve Taylor, who asked who was Amy's all time favourite opening act and also who was her tallest opening act ("Alison Krauss/Steve Taylor") Third Day's Mac Powell, who asked what Amy is currently listening to ("Bonnie Rait, Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald, the new Bruce Springsteen record") and Bill Gaither, who asked when she was going to record a CD of his songs ("You might have been kidding but I guess I've never thought of recording one because, in my mind, your songs are your songs").
