AMERICAN pop and CCM star Amy Grant is to play three live events in
the U.K. this Autumn. The confirmed venues are Manchester Apollo, The
Birmingham Symphony Hall and London's Labatt's Hammersmith Apollo on
1st, 2nd and 4th October respectively, and follows the launch of her
long awaited new album 'House Of Love', released by A&M and Nelson
Word on 22nd August. The album described as "a less poppy, more mature
album" than its platinum predecessor 'Heart In Motion' is being
heavily promoted by A&M Records in Europe and Amy will be visiting
Britain in August to promote the album on radio and TV. 'House Of
Love' is a "love song album" though there are explicit references to
her faith on the recording. In May Amy received America's prestigious
Pax Christi Award, normally made to churchmen, for her efforts in
promoting the Christian faith.
