radioDr Ed Montgomery's Ablife Records signs with Sony/Red.
THE FIRST Scripture-based spoken word project in the history of Sony
Entertainment will be released in the US on 20th September. 'The
Healing CD' is a compilation of Old and New Testament Scriptures set
to an original score and read by Dr Ed Montgomery, founder of the
7,000 member Abundant Life Cathedral. It will be the first release on
a deal signed between Sony's independent distribution arm Red and
Ablife Multimedia, a church-based label founded by Dr Montgomery.
Prior to the distribution deal, Ablife Records had enjoyed several
gospel chart hits. The next release by Ablife will be a self-titled
urban gospel CD by new artist Bridgette Taylor.

sony red should start looking at independent labels who they give the publishing deal to or distribution deal i don't know that much about the inside music but oh i'm finding out now a lot of independent labels can loose there publishing deal by taking the artist money and spending it instead of putting it into the artist project independent label explains artist pays 10,000 on distribution and they invest the other half i have gotten over thousands of feedback about artist not coming out on independent label and the producers are spending all artist money this is a serious issue
