Christafari release hard-hitting 'No Compromise' album
AN ALBUM marking the 20th anniversary of gospel reggae pioneers Christafari has been released by Lion Of Zion Entertainment. The new album 'No Compromise' is said to "blend Christafari's signature roots reggae sound with elements of hip-hop, dancehall, soca, worship and even rock, showcasing an unprecedented new gospel sound." With 15 new gospel reggae anthems and an arsenal of guest appearances, the new album explores such topics as abortion ("The Protestors"), Rastafarianism ("Gwaan Natty"), falling away from God ("That None Should Fade Away") and marijuana use ("Pure Meditations"). On "Most High" Christafari founder and vocalist Mark Mohr shares his testimony as a drug and marijuana addicted youth.
