Proverbs 3:5-6

Mike Davies looks at how Covid-19 has changed our lives and what lessons we may learn from it and take into future with us.

The more I look into this and seek the Lord, it would appear that world values are changing. We are going back to basics, and recognising the pace needs to slow down.

The Church, by and large, is God's way of transforming communities. This is done by one person engaging with another. The seed being sown. The friendship built.

Many years ago, I used to believe that all I needed was to get my friends to attend a church meeting or church service of some kind. How wrong was my thinking?

To transform a community, a town, a nation, those who are within it need a transformation of their mind to realise that which God has empowered them to reach and touch is their own communities.

Every single person reading this today is so vitally important to God. If God can see what a beautiful and life changing person you are. All you need is to know and believe this yourself.

It is not my main intention to see a building filled with Christians on a Sunday morning. Although, it would be fantastic.

My intention is to see Christians fathered and released into their destiny, fully aligned, loved and fathered but without the pressure.

Yes, there needs to be interaction and getting together but I believe this will change Post-Covid.

We have learned during lockdown that we can receive so much teaching online but what we lack is the corporate worship and just being together.

My hope is that when life starts to resemble some form of normality that we start by empowering those within our church families to be an influence to the community in which they live and breath.
Now where to we go from here?

In Proverbs we are told to, 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.'

My prayer for you today is that God will make your paths straight.
