Tina Mann encourages us to trust God in all circumstances
Life, it is a weird one sometimes. One minute things are going smoothly; you know your purpose and where you are heading and can easily believe that God is real. You understand that He is full of love and that He graciously cares for you. And then there are the 'other' minutes where situations have changed, people have let you down, you're feeling confused as questions dart through your mind uncontrollably: Where are you in all this confusion God? Are we angry at him and do we blame him for these pains in our life?
If God promises to always be there and remain true to His word: which
is that he is a God of Love independent of life's situations, then it
must be valid, even when our lives seem to be cracking, when our
hearts are breaking and God seems a million miles away. It must still
be true when we have no answers, when we feel alone, when we loose a
job or a relative dies.
Trusting in God takes faith,
especially when these situations make it easy to doubt him as a God of
Love, a God of provision, a God of Justice. However, this is when we
have to remind ourselves of who God really is to us and believe this
truth about Him. As hard as it may seem, this is possible: believe me!
I have had my rosy moments in life and also tasted the bitterness of
despair but my conclusion so far, is that God is always faithful.
Actually I have found that these tough situations in life have helped
me to go to God and just be real before him. There have been times
when I have shared my frustrations and concerns knowing that this is
what he longs for me to do, He yearns to counsel me.
The downs in life do cause us to turn to God and communicate with him, which, in turn deepens our relationship and increases our trust in him, so no matter what is going on in our lives, our faith in him will be constant. The more we trust, the more we begin to see that any event in life, as random as it may seem, is a chance for God to reveal his heart towards us and let us in on how much he loves us. If you have never done this before then why not start right now. Stand back from the situations you don't understand or have caused you pain and simply ask God what he wants to reveal to you through them. He might want to bring healing, he might be challenging a false view you may have of him or he may just want to tell you that he has everything under control.
Whatever situations we find ourselves in are we going to trust in his promises? Are we going to give over to him every area of our lives and praise Him in the rough times as well as the blissful times? If He is our everything then can we be everything to him? Are we going to cry out for God in times of need and what's more, are we going to be still to listen to Him? This our daily challenge.

am I going to trust God? Well, i know He has provided for me so far, as He promised-there is no reason why He will not keep doing so. Life hurts right now, but that doesn't mean He is not for me and with me.
