Sadly the plug being pulled on the premier Fest stopped UK fans from experiencing one of the brightest and best of America's new bands. For Dakoda, with their brash, bright pop-rock with its hint of California surf and its life affirming lyrics, are definitely a band to go a long way for. Plenty of hot guitar (dig the torrid solo on "Trip To Pain"), a girl singer (Davia Vallesillo) who really sounds at ease fronting a rock band, and a team whose sheer energy pervades everything they do.
