Recently Matt and family relocated to Atlanta to serve at the Passion City Church led by Louie Giglio. The influence of the US and these arena sized worship events can be clearly heard on 'We Shall Not Be Shaken'. Matt's songwriting again demonstrates his skilful way with memorable hooks and simple-yet-profound lyrical couplets but now linked to sonic soundscapes that make the songs sound huge; think U2-sing-the-songs-of-Matt Redman. The opener "This Is How We Know" uses the familiar John 3:16 for the chorus. This song links to the title track, that no matter what goes on around us in the current climate, God is central to our faith and unshakeable. That theme carries through the whole album. Matt has a distinctive songwriting style that translates into corporate worship very easily, and this album again demonstrates that rare gift. The songs are epic but intimate; Matt has a profound talent for writing deeply personal songs that say what we feel. There are many songs on here that I can confidently predict will be sung in churches around the world and I look forward to incorporating them into my fellowship's worship very soon. This is an exceptional album, up there with Matt Redman's best releases. An inspirational and uplifting collection that confirms Matt Redman as one of this generation's premier songwriters.

This September sees the release of Matt’s brand new studio album ‘We Shall Not Be Shaken’ produced by Robert Marvin who produced Matt’s previous album ‘Beautiful News’. The new album features co-writes with Jonas Myrin (Hillsongs) and is a collection of congregational songs that will inspire the local church across the world.
Matt now resides in Atlanta USA where he is part of the Passion Church plant alongside Louie Giglio and Chris Tomlin. This year Matt received ASCAP Awards for Christian songwriter of the year and for the most played songs on Christian radio in the USA for ‘Blessed Be Your Name’ and ‘Never Let Go’.

The truth is - Matt has done it again. The album is drenched in sound biblical truth against easy and resonating melodies. there are so many 'stand out' songs that i change my mind with each listen. Remembrance is a beautifully crafted communion song that speaks to the 'man on the street'. There are no duffers on this album with top production quality being an extra bonus.

This is a great album with some amazing new songs by Matt! I went to a venue when he was playing and he played some of these songs, it just made me want to buy the album! Well done Matt once again for this awesome album!
