This then is the end of the chapter that has been TBWNN, is it really nearly a decade? I remember watching the Manchester musicianeries after the first release, 'The Blitz', at the Cross Rhythms festival, since then they have evangelised, blessed and thrilled audiences with their unique fusion of hip-hop, rock and dance and in the process have become the most effective evangelists working in British youth culture. With studio maestro Zarc Porter ensuring that the beats are truly thunderous the band, in each of its incarnations, have refused to be pigeonholed in their style and have released three truly great albums. Chip K has, of course, been ever present in the lineup while, as this compilation demonstrates, there were masterly contributions from past members such as rapper MC Presha and singer The Bobsta. What you get here is probably right in being credited "the best" and includes all of my favourites such as "Amazing Grace", "Without You Within Me", "The Best Thing" and my all time favourite the anthemic "Home". I would have preferred "Calm" to "Easy" but i suppose that's nit-picking. The new songs are typical TBWNN. "The 4points" is typically brilliant using an unexpected fragment of the classic "Oh Happy Day" sung by a full-on gospel choir and with LZ7's Lindz West making some choice interjections. The other new recordings "Heroes Fall" and "Space Cadet" deviate a bit from the usual TBWNN sound but work perfectly. In a just and right world most of these tracks would have filled the mainstream airwaves. So we sadly say goodbye to the guys who have been an awesome blessing. This essential compilation is a reminder of how much they will be missed.

thebandwithnoname have been at the forefront of youth music ministry throughout much of the last decade. Possibly the most significant and authentic band to reach out to today's youth with the dynamic message of Jesus during that time, they have played to many many thousands of young people through major events, schools work and tours.

This best of includes the phenomenal live favourite The 4 Points (featuring LZ7) among three brand new tracks, plus a new remix of the classic Get Up.

At age 49 I was blown away by TBWNN in 2006 when they appeared at our church. They and LZ7 changed my appreciation of modern Christian music forever!
Another album to add to the collection.
All the best for the future, guys!

TBWNN are legendary and I believe their music will be a lasting legacy for generations to come on how to be unashamedly up and in ya face with the gospel in a real but compassionate way. I just hope that some where out there is a twenty year old Chip K who has got the guts to give it all up for the sake of the gospel. Love and respect.

The 4 Points: The Best of thebandwithnoname really has their best songs, plus 4 new tracks.
New Tracks: The four points featuring LZ7 is another original excellent remix and is one of their best, just like their previous remixed Amazing Grace. 'Hereos Fall' is a quieter more reflective song but includes Straff's excellent voice during the verses, with ChipK, Jimmy and Kuvey really bringing out the passion in the verses. Space cadet is mainly ChipK's voice, if you focus on the lyrics, they really are amazing although a little different to the band's normal style, it still works really well. The new remix of Get Up is another great one, and you really get up to this one, with an excellent bass line and really fresh new feel to the song.

The Best Line Up: It has a load of epic bandwithnoname's; Amazing Grace, Found And Lost, Dying to be there and Do or Die. Along with some of their parting tracks such as Tell Me Something I Don't Know Already, The Best Thing, Reach For Mic and Misfit. Some of their heavier stuff is on there The Blitz, Staring It In The Face, Without You Within Me and Justified. And lastly some of there quiet/reflective songs. Home and Easy.

Over all an excellent compilation and some epic new songs from them. An awesome way of saying goodbye to an excellent, amazing band who have given our teen generation some head banging, jumping around, crazy music that will never be forgotten.

Thanks thebandwithnoname!!!!
