Useful tip! Sometimes I take the butter straight from the fridge, it's too hard spread, so I stick it in the microwave for a few seconds, any longer than a few secs and it goes too mushy. Cheryl's debut has been in there for the maximum amount, it's just about managed to stay on the right side of softness to be useful. Sparse arrangements, electric piano, muted guitar notes, kick and bass with a snare that sounds like tsssss. Cheryl likes to inflect her vocals with a one tone mordent (up and down really quick) quite often, it's nice though, I'm not complaining. She has a soft voice and occasionally drifts, the tiniest amount, into a nether region of the key she's in. She wants to praise the Lord, which she does, in a medium to slow paced way. By track eight I really wanted Cheryl to get up-tempo, if she could get up to 120 beats-per-minute rather than 70 - 90 I'm sure she'd be hot. Useful tip two, never tie your shoe laces in a revolving door.
