This is a reflective, contemplative Susan Ashton, proclaiming a heartfelt desire to return to 'square one' with our Heavenly Father. Unfortunately, this bout of post-marriage introspection borders on the melancholy leaving scant room for the more joyful pop pronouncements of previous albums. Track after track blur into musical anonymity leaving this listener with a sense of drowsy disappointment. Only "Hold The Intangible" and "Waiting For Your Love To Come Down" risk leaving the obscurity of this 10 track offering. Still, devotees will surely add this to ' their Ashton collection but, I fear, only to gather dust in the CD rack. Marriage has clearly fostered a more ruminative Ashton. Hopefully, future albums will express this new-found maturity in less dreary style.
