Another DVD of those famed mega-celebrations from Australia's hugely influential church and like its predecessors this contains both rock style that would appeal to youth and more inspirational ballads for older worshippers. You can read more about the actual music in the review of the accompanying CD. In the DVD you are given (surprise, surprise) copious shots of an arena full of people raising their hands and dancing in worship. From these visuals it is evident that the musicians and singers are just worshipping God like everyone else rather than performing. The camera angles change every couple of seconds and although this can sometimes be distracting it does give a panoramic view of the worship in the arena. The footage opens with a scene of a candle being lit in worship and is nicely overlaid with shots of the worshippers. I was pleased to find that the recording comes with a full set of subtitles translated into many languages. And I could choose to listen to the team watching and chatting about the songs in the background or watch each songwriter share some comments on their songs in the video blogs section. Overall, this is an impressive DVD that drew me into worship.
