It would be difficult to find anything that makes this Brummie quartet distinctive from the rest of the Christian rock crowd - in an attempt to be eclectic and varied, there are too many obvious influences here, including the opening riff on the title track "Revolutionized" (which sounds like a mixture of Duran Duran's "Please, Please Tell Me Now" and something from Crowded House) to give the album any real focus - the only constants are the subtle musical influences of the Indian sub-continent which surface throughout the album. Highlights therefore, are the songs which, because of their straightforwardness, just allow you to enjoy the words and the music without forcing you to think where you've heard that before - "Waiting For The Day" with its epic pretensions, sweeping guitars, piano and harmonies, is particularly noteworthy in this respect as is "Healing Wings". "Ru ahh", with its opening riff taken straight from the Charlatans or some other '90s Manchester sensation, is another highlight and where the band seem to be their most comfortable and confident. There is no doubting their talent for songwriting and finely honed rock, however on this recording they are let down by production values that leave even the best bits lacking in bite and dynamics.
