This American pop punk team are set to visit the UK later this year which is good news as this album demonstrates these guys have a good line in punchy, hooky songs. Co-produced by Relient K's Matt Thiessen this offering by the somewhat worryingly geeky looking threesome happily shows that looks aren't everything. It's high octane punky pop most of the way and no song outstays its welcome. There's not a single duffer here, with honourable mentions going to "Beat Different", "Armchair Sanctuary", the growling "Me First", and the downhill hurtle that is "Everything So Far". The perfect antidote to a hard day in the office or a blast of rock 'n' roll energy prior to going off to a gig.
