There’s already a major buzz Stateside about these sistahs and one listen to “Here We Go (Holla)” will explain why, a sinuous groove with a nag-at-you hook, a rap from one of the ladies and a vibe you know will be lighting up radio land. Elsewhere, the foursome’s switched leads, swirling harmonies and funky beats concocted by a bevy of top R&B men ensure that the impact is maintained. Only a rather tiresome intro and one-too-many ballads stop this from being a stone classic. But if you want quality R&B gospel with more than a hint of Destiny’s Child attitude yet hopefully avoiding that group’s bump’n’grind banality, these soulful sistahs are surely going to hit big.

The combined efforts of 19-year-olds Tracy Bryant and Delurian Burton and 18-year-old Sherise Staten and Stephanie Bonner have been likened to Mary Mary, Trin-i-tee 5:7 and Out Of Eden, and the girls have already had a song of theirs featured on the soundtrack of the new Cuba Gooding Jr / Beyonce Knowles film, 'Fighting Temptations.'
Ramiyah, who hail from Detroit, are already being described by critics as 'the future of gospel music.' This, their debut offering, has been lovingly put together by PAJAM - one of the hottest, most in-demand production teams on the scene at the moment.
