Reviewed by Dancin' Dave Derbyshire This is yet another Spring Harvest CD in the series aimed at the tinies. As always it is well produced by Andy Harsant and well performed by some excellent musicians and singers. However Cathy Burton and Dan Wheeler are sadly missing from the line up. This time Jim Bailey is ably joined by Tiffany Tremain on vocals and Stuart Gerard on guitar. As usual there are 12 songs which are repeated without words with the aim of the getting the kids to sing along to them. These are simple compositions and include some traditional items such as "The Wise Man Built His House Upon The Rock" and "Rise & Shine (Arky Arky)". There are also some new compositions including ones by Becky Drake and Ems Hancock & Tim Pettingale as well as a Julia Plaut favourite from the '90s - "Jesus Is My Friend". If you are collecting CDs to play in your church's crèche then this is another one for you. More from Spring HarvestSee all...
