In Lucy's Rainbow we discover that Judy Hopkins is obviously a person full of love, hope and deep faith. The book illustrates the ultimate love she gave to her husband Russell before and during his illness. After his death we see her sink to the bottom of despair, but through the book we witness the hope that she has in abundance gradually help her to rise to the person that she is today. Above all what sparkles throughout the book is her faith in God, the very foundation of her being. Lucy's Rainbow - a book to be read.

Having known Judy since she was a schoolgirl, and attended her joyful wedding, so soon followed by family tragedy, I was delighted to read the finished story.
Such an honest and detailed account of these events is a tribute to the skills given to Judy, not only as a writer, but as a woman who hears from God. The ability to interpret and communicate the deeper purposes of suffering and the meaning behind them shines out and challenges. Judy has that rare listening gift which enables her to draw alongside people at times of deep need.

This book reveals the depth of her spirituality and would be helpful reading to anyone involved in bringing hope to people in this hurting world.
