Recorded live in front of a partisan crowd at London's Icthus Fellowship, Kendrick leads the congregation through a selection of new songs and it's clear that everyone is enjoying themselves on this warm recording. Songs that stand out include the title track which is a song for our times, encouraging the congregation to drink living water. I love the enthusiasm of the Icthus crowd!'"Knowing You" is beautiful worship, "Wake Up, O Sleeper" thumps along nicely with some good brassy bits, "The Day Of His Power" is reggae! Kendrick's skill is to write songs that appeal to the masses so although there are a few different styles here, this recording still squats safely in the middle of the road. There are no real surprises, so if you like Kendrick's previous five albums, buy this as it is more of the same. One innovation here is the sleeve to the CD which includes the music, a great idea. But is Mr Kendrick's vast musical output beginning to ware a tad thin?
