Subtitled 'Songs Of Intimacy Toward God' fares rather better than the 'This Is The Day' sister volume. It features slow, easy listening arrangements of songs such as "How Beautiful" and the title track which work quite well. Don't get me wrong, the musicians, singers and production are first class. But do we really need this sort of stuff at all? If you want worship music of exuberance or intimacy buy one of Integrity's Hosanna! albums. If anyone out there still listens to Val Doonican or the Fisherfolk they might just like the 'Worship Alive' series. Otherwise I should give it a miss.
