Born in Canada to Indian parents, Elizabeth has previously recorded two Malayalam language albums and states that “Indian music will always be a part of me.” Unfortunately (for this reviewer) there is little trace of such esoteric delights here. Instead, the Toronto-based singer adopts a musical style not dissimilar to one of her major musical influences, another Canadian Sarah McLachlan. Elizabeth Ann's tone is sweet and mellifluous and though this nine song album is a tad short and there are possibly too many covers (Integrity Music’s “Draw Me Close” and four hymns) the impression left by this wistfully haunting project is still one of an important talent.

Elizabeth's CD is beautiful...she has an amazing voice! Most of the songs on this CD are slow which makes for nice easy listening...She has more edge in her earlier CD "Show Me The Way". I'm sure we can expect to hear more from Elizabeth in the years to come!
