It's one of the bizarrest pieces of rock gospel trivia that Mr Green began his recording career with White Heart for anything further from the band's brash, noisy rock than this item for kiddywinkers would be hard to imagine. Steve doesn't do all the singing, sometimes the kids take a vocal or two on a set of jaunty Scripture songs designed to get children to memorise Bible verses. The links, narrated by the gleaming-toothed MOR gospel star- seemed ludicrously stilted to my ears and I couldn't bare the idea of playing this one to my kids -just in case they liked it.
