To be honest I'm not sure if this album is correctly classified under pop or whether it should be R&B. Like Jay Kay and Justin Timberlake before him (or Jon Gibson if you want a Christian equivalent) Greg Sczebel is another white artist who has opted for a black feel which strongly mimics Stevie Wonder, circa 'Innervisions' and Michael Jackson, circa 'Off The Wall'. Even the CD itself has been made to look like a small version of an old vinyl album to add to the retro feel. Sadly the drum/bass section just isn't punchy enough to put this in the same league as any of the other artists mentioned but the songs are most definitely impressive, well written, sung with passion and upfront about Jesus. This is certainly one that I'll be listening to again in future and I one that I would recommend to anyone who likes R&B grooves done old school.

i saw this guy last night, there he was just a yamaha keyboard and his voice separating him from the audience, needless to say i thought he was great,
shades of mick hucknalll of simply red fame, with a touch of colin james, for good measure, all done in with a Christian soul revival feel, if there is one album out there that is going to break the genre gap from Christian to secular pop...THIS IS IT!!! get it !!!---jeo
