One of the first things that struck me with this latest offering from the Phatfish foursome now that Alan Rose has left the band (though he appears on the sleeve as an additional musician), is the wonderful quality of production. The blending together of the soothing, soaring voice of Lou Fellingham, the piano and synthesisers of Michael Sandeman and of the other instruments is what makes this a quality album. Worship leader Paul Oakley lends a hand in the writing of the third track which is a beautiful slow song reminding us of what an "Amazing God" we have. Some might pick holes and say that the lyrics are not that deep, however they are reaffirming and remind us who we are in Christ and of who our God is. The highlights on this album, I think, are: the upbeat and kind of funky "Rise Up", the prayerful and chilled out "Holy Spirit" and the final song "From The Rising Of The Sun" of which the chorus is beautiful! Overall there is a good mix of up tempo and slow songs. I can't find any fault with this album. If you're feeling frazzled, this album will leave you with a relaxed, chilled-out, upbeat and feel-good factor!

This is a great album, and maybe the band's best work yet. Guaranteed has great musical arrangements as well as sound lyrical content. Definitely worth getting hold of!

After seeing Guaranteed songs performed live by Phatfish at Newday 2007, it just strengthens my opinion that Phatfish are one of the best worship bands in the world. From some heavy stuff on Heavenbound, to lighter worship on Faithful, to this fresh new and well produced sound. The main thing that stands out on this album are the lyrics, from lines such as \"Jesus I will follow you, Live each day consecrated to your will. Then one day you will return, and ill know perfect joy forever more\" to \"from the ends of the earth, the nations will come, every knee bowing down, to the holy one.\" Phatfish have appeared on dozens of live worship albums, alongside matt redman, tim hughes, kate simmonds, stuart townend, brian houston, martyn layzell, simon brading, here they prove that as a fourpiece, with the angelic voice of lou fellingham, then can still make fantastic music, own the stage and lead thousands in worship of our one god.

Love it, love it, love it! Have been listening to it every day - also have found introducing Phatfish songs in worship with a mixed aged congregation goes down well across the board - I suspect the song "Holy Spirit" will be getting an airing soon!
