Nothing's guaranteed to start a fight between friends faster than a discussion of what should or shouldn't be included on their favourite band's 'Best Of.' compilation album. I don't know who the person responsible for this one is, but after looking over the track listing my first comment was, "You! Outside! Now!" Put it this way: if I was going to introduce Bebe and Cece's music to someone who'd never heard them before, I wouldn't give them this. There's no sign of "Call Me", "Change Your Nature", "I Don't Know Why"- or, for that matter, any of my personal favourites here- with the possible exception of "Heaven", "I'll Take You There" and "Celebrate New Life". I guess these must be the songs of theirs that were popular on America's Adult Cotemporary Hit (i.e. limp ballad) radio stations.

What a great collection of songs from ccm's top R & B
vocals of all time! Released in late October of 1996.
14 songs that span from their first lp from 1984 to the 1994 cd "Relationships". This cd is 10 years of Benjamin (Bebe) & Priscilla (Cece) Winans at their best! The 1988 hit "Heaven" is among the songset; guest vocalist Whitney Houston can be seen on the video version of song. I don't like the fact that one of my favorites "I'll Take you There" from 1991 is last #
on cd; btw great video for the song! "Addicted Love" from same 1991 cd is also included; another fave.
The 5 minute gospel flavored "LORD, Lift us up Where we Belong" from their debut album adds to the list of
songs. Of course many are familiar with the 1982 pop hit version "Up Where We Belong" recorded by Jennifer Warnes & Joe Cocker. Glad to have this cd in
my ccm collection. GOD Bless! - Don
