Reviewed by Jeremy Williams

Having produced or collaborated with over 40 different artists in his time, Charlie Peacock has quite a group of friends to call on for this celebration of his 20 years as a solo artist. Switchfoot, Sara Groves, TobyMac, Avalon and Out Of The Grey all contribute. Sixpence None The Richer cover "Every Heartbeat", Steve Taylor and Margaret Becker sing the kicking "Lie Down In The Grass" from his 1984 debut album of the same name. Perhaps best of all is "In The Light", made famous by dc Talk. It appears as you've never heard it before, transformed into a fantastic handclapping banjo breakdown courtesy of Bela Fleck. Charlie himself sings a musical testimony on the single and new song "God In The World", summing up his life: "I've been hip, I've been hated, loved and berated/Been hot, cold, young and old, it doesn't matter/I'm not the point at all..." A playful, celebratory meeting of creative Christian minds, this is a fitting tribute and good introduction to a prolific and multi-talented singer, writer, speaker, producer and general CCM muse.
