As a Christian it is refreshingly rare to find a movie that carries a clear presentation of values I can align myself with; where people interact in a language and lifestyle I can relate to. As a husband it is equally rare to find a movie that speaks into the dynamics of marriage relevantly, positively and truthfully. Fireproof does all this with a resonance of truth that causes you to be drawn into the characters and relate to the nature of their relationships. Whether it is the dynamics of a husband/wife relationship, a father/son or son/mother, this movie will draw you in emotionally and hook you with the lump in your throat. Christians live a life where a relationship with God is part of everyday life and Fireproof reflects the genuineness of this without becoming cringy. Of course across the diversity of the Christian community our experience of faith may have different expressions in how we live our lives, and Fireproof would present a more evangelical lifestyle, but when it comes to movies with an unapologetic modern Christian lifestyle presentation Fireproof is easily one of the best movies I have seen.

In this day and age where sex and bad language is the main focus in all movies, it was brilliant to watch a movie with some humor, lots of action and definitely a message that will make a difference to not just married people, but also children's lives for now and eternity. I watched it last night with my wife and youngest daughter and already I have started to make some adjustments. If only the world would wake up to this.

9/10Another great film from the Kendrick Brothers and Sherwood movies. A little twee at times, but a great story and great to share with other couples especially those who need a little help. It made me sit back and look at the things that I don't always do to work on my marriage. Excelent film very watchable many times.

Tonight (Fri) my family and our guests watched Fireproof The Movie. I cried throughout (even Joshua Williamson cried at one point). It is wonderful, powerful, and probably one of, if not the, best movies I've seen. The Gospel is well presented, as is what a true conversion is. All I can say is buy it, and you'll want to buy it for others.
