With 20+ years experience ministering to the gay Christian community, and as a gay man himself, Jeremy Marks is perhaps uniquely qualified to comment on the pastoral and theological issues surrounding homosexuality that vex the Church today. Drawing together his experience, his understanding and the testimonies of some of the numerous men and women he has helped over the past twenty years, Jeremy Marks has written this short book in an attempt to shed some light into an area of debate that generates such heat. The book has been specifically written to speak to the Anglican Bishops as they gather from around the world for the 2008 Lambeth Conference, but it is sure to be of concern to all those who are interested in, and engaged with, the issues of Lesbian, Gay and Bi-Sexual Christians, whether that be from a personal, a pastoral or a theological perspective. The Foreword has been written by Dr Roy Clements, former minister at Eden Baptist Church, Cambridge. An Afterword has been included, written by the Revd Dave Tomlinson, vicar of St Luke’s Church in Holloway (North London); author of “The Post-Evangelical” (1995) and its follow-up “Re-enchanting Christianity” (August 2008)

About the Author
Jeremy Marks is the founder of Courage, a ministry working to disciple homosexual Christians and win others of the gay community to Christ. He is himself homosexual and has been married to his wife, Bren, for 17 years, who has written a chapter for the book.
