UK-based worship man delivers third album.

Ben has, of course, become one of the most popular worship leaders based in the UK and this, his third album, is well up to standard. The title track has been going around in my head since I gave it a few plays - in a good way! It's one of the best songs on the album - the melody is strong and the lyrics effective, about how faith makes him see the world in colour rather than black and white. Equally impactful is the soft and touching "Love Divine (Purify)", a prayer song all the more effective with its intimate acoustic guitar backing. As with other worship stalwarts like Redman and Hughes, Cantelon has the unerring ability to pen worship songs with catchy melodies and lyrical concepts that can be easily grasped. So undoubtedly there are songs here that will be taken up by the worshipping Church. Personally, I would have preferred lyrics to be a little more unpredictable and edgy, but maybe that's like complaining that ice cream isn't chewy enough. The production, by America's Jason Ingram (Chris Tomlin, One Sonic Society), is generally good, though some might find the wall of sound a little overpowering at times. But for Ben's legion of supporters this is another strong release.

UK-based worship man delivers third album.
The third release from Canadian worship leader Ben Cantelon.
Everything In Colour is his strongest album yet. Produced by Jason Ingram (Chris Tomlin, One Sonic Society), the full-length album features songs that have already stirred up the underground - like "Saviour Of The World", "A New Day" and a brand new recording of already established worship song "Love Came Down".
The album features songs written with Mia Fieldes (Hillsong), Jason Ingram, and Stu G, and the album fuses great production with a raw sense of corporate worship. Having started out as Worship Director at Soul Survivor Ben is now based at Holy Trinity Brompton, where he is a key worship leader for Worship Central
