Reviewed by Robin Thompson

Greater Vision have been on the scene since 1990 but have been rather light on the recording front in that time. Perhaps their busy touring schedule hasn't left time to make albums possible but whatever the reason, I'm sure fans will be grateful for this release. The songs here are largely self-written and it has to be said that they are pretty good too. The opening two tracks, "It Means Just What It Says" and "God Will Pass By" are gems, extremely memorable and inspiring. They really sum up the whole album. I often find that Southern gospel is fine when it's joyful, but often becomes a tad dreary for all but the most ardent fans when the ballads kick in. Not so here. But then, these seasoned harmonisers know what they're doing and they're doing it well. Perhaps then, there is a benefit in not releasing albums every five minutes. If it means that your albums are full of quality rather than filler.
