This 2011 release has already considerable Cross Rhythms airplay with "Good Times" being something of a turntable hit. Clearly a band who have evolved from the aggressive rock flavour of 'Reason For Motion' and 'Reset & Rewind' through to the pop dance flavourings of 2009's 'Blue', their fourth release is surely their best with producer Bob Wells upping the keyboard work and ensuring the band deliver several radio-friendly anthems. As well as the aforementioned "Good Times", "Halo" is a lot of fun with its tongue-in-cheek line "I rock my halo". Just as arresting is "Count 123" while the title track has a powerful line aimed at the peer pressure of modern youth culture, "Just don't play the game." Rock purists may criticise the Canadian band's move away from the alt rock sounds of old but for those who simply want punchy, melodically catchy songs delivered with the maximum of passion, this is an outstanding set.
