The need to die to live is a counter-cultural message our world needs to hear and Pro (aka Derek Minor) brings his thoughts on the subject with the title track of this 2011 album. In this world, some hear lies like Pinocchio but "life is only found in Geppetto, Creator, God." This message carries through the album to later commercial tracks like "No Limits" featuring Rio. Social issues and struggles feature, as in tracks like "So Far Gone" featuring Niy, which tackles struggles with internet porn. There are a few slower tracks such as the powerful "Drink From His Cup" with Pro's gritty southern flow working well over the soaring soulful vocals of Suzy Rock while "Mission To Mars" features some heavy metal riffs. Towards the end we have some awesome, anthemic shouts for God on "No One Greater" featuring Json and Trip Lee.

The producer and rapper otherwise known as Derek Minor with a 2011 album.

Following the success of Redemption, PRo returns with his second album Dying to Liveóa theatrical celebration of death as the only way to life. The funeral procession is led by A Life Worth Dying For, an atypical eulogy that exposes mankindís failure to see past ourselves and our surroundings to discover life, which can only be found in Christ.

The intergalactic first single Mission to Mars, featuring and produced by PK, sets the bar for the level of production on this album offering an out of this world farewell to the mundane life. Dying to Live continues to thrill with the exhilarating, heavy metal laden Full Court Mess ft. KB; and hard-hitting bangers No One Greater ft. JíSon and Trip Lee; and Never Back Down ft. S.O. and Thiísl. The album also features the melodic sounds of Jenny Norlin on This Canít Be and Niya on So Far Gone. Other highlights include Lecrae and Tedashii on the gritty anthem Going In and Suzy Rock on the soul-stirring ode Drink From His Cup. Production from PRo, Joseph Prielozny, Tony ďStoneĒ Shepherd, Cheesebeats, Big Juice and others makes Dying to Live an invigorating project.
