Reviewed by Peter Dilley Although labelled as the second part of a farewell concert in November 2005, if you watch the DVD you can tell from Donald Lawrence's attire that 'Act One' and 'Act Two' both contain excerpts from throughout the evening. As packaged on CD/DVD, both "Acts" open with some new songs, and round up with a medley of older material, taken from the 'real' second half of the performance. On the 'Act Two' disc, opener "The Blessing of Abraham" is actually the same recording as on 'Act One' (it's been the recent hit single too), and "Encourage Yourself" and "Matthew 28" are also premiered here. In addition to lead vocals from Donald and members of the choir, 'Act Two' is much more loaded with guest appearances than the first volume - "God Is" includes testimony and a solo from Dewayne Woods ; "Better" features family ensemble The Murrills; and Lashun Pace, Walter Hawkins and Vanessa Bell-Armstrong all show up in the closing "Medley". Reading about the success of "The Blessing of Abraham" and the way that their tours in 2006 have postponed the choir's demise, I'm left wondering whether they will part company after all, and perhaps their final track gives a hint - its title: "The Best Is Yet To Come".
