Pass me the ear plugs! This album should come with a government health warning: Can seriously affect your blinkered ideas on what Christian music should sound like. The adjective to describe this album? Loud! A tough blend of punk, rap and metal described as "power rhyme". John Peel would probably rave about it. Sadly, it's unlikely to get past first base here because it's musically aggressive and won't go down well with the Soft Music Brigade. On their native soil, the American noisemongers have a growing fan base. They're different. Refreshing. Challenging. This is not usually my thing, but I love it! Standout track "Whitey On The Moon" is a rap-influenced, anti-racist slogan, with a superb yet simple riff you'll be shaking your tresses to. The whole album shakes its fist and shouts violently at the Enemy. "Bystander" is enough to send any devil running for cover (and everyone else reaching for the volume control). If more Christian music had the same spirit of attack on the world as this perhaps we would realise how violently we need to win the Kingdom. In-yer-face, with lots of attitude and more punches than Lennox Lewis.
