These five guys hail from Vancouver, Canada and play a kind of bouncy modern pop in the vein of REM or even a poor version of Jars. The opener sets the standard for the first few tracks: bouncy pop, mainly acoustic-driven tunes. The vocals on these tracks are pleasant, without being stunning in any way, and the musicianship tight and competent. “You Gave Me Life” is probably the best track on the album. A midtempo rocker which reflects the separation of Christ from His Father, tied in with personal separations in life. “Three Fine Days” is also an intelligent upbeat tune. However they definitely live up to their name from track five onwards in my humble opinion. I found the remainder of the album eminently forgettable and the last track was just awful.

Not that your reviewer probably still works for you or would even remember this review, but I think he didn't even listen to the best tracks on the CD. Check out Make Me Fall and then pray about what your write next.

P.S. No, I wasn't hurt by the review. Considering all that people like me have to go through to even make a living in ministry, those comments would only have hardened my resolve not to give up because of an opinion of someone else. And, I've not given up!
