Debut album from popular spring harvest worship leader. |

Reviewed by Eliz Cooke This is Leigh's debut praise and worship album and a fine contribution it is too by this Plymouth-based worship leader. After experiencing leading worship at Spring Harvest for the past two years he has written this album with the congregation in mind. The songs are from the heart, honest expressions of where Leigh wants to be. The desire for humility in "Realign" - "Bring me to my knees/Every time I feel strong" asks Jesus first for that decrease before being lifted up, but a lifting up in him: "Come lift up my heart/To the King of Kings". The yearning for deep intimacy with Jesus is the common thread that runs through these songs. Musically there are some catchy choruses, storming guitar licks and some fine Hammond organ sounds from well known musicians such as Matt Weeks and Dan Wheeler. All round good stuff. The title track was recorded live at Spring Harvest this year. A good closer to an above average worship set.
