As we've observed more than once, the Cedarmont licence-to-print-money has at least ensured that in recent times the production values of their albums have improved hugely. Now you've got proper backing tracks rather than "recorded on a cheap synth" accompaniments while the anonymous bunch of kids singing at least do so with some semblance of enthusiasm. The big appeal here is the quality of the songs (Matt Redman's "Blessed Be Your Name", Chris Tomlin's "Holy Is The Lord", Laura Story's "Indescribable", Doug Horley's "We Want To See Jesus Lifted High", etc, etc). But it has to be said that the original versions are far, far better and parents in search of music for their kids can do much better than this album.
