Reviewed by Mike Rimmer This album was reviewed as in independent release in CR66. Here is the review. A live worship album from Revelation Warehouse recorded at gatherings over a two month period where students and young people joined together to pray and worship, dance and express their passion for Jesus creatively. This is the place where the 24-7 prayer initiative began and 'Biography' is an audio snapshot of the story so far. And be warned! This is radical stuff! It reminds me of 'Live & In The Can' in that it's gathered together some of the most explosive, dynamic moments from the outright loud praise of "Gloria" and the rousing cry for Christians to wake up. There's the noisy war cry where the crowd cry out "C'mon" in the middle of the rock praise brought together by Simon Paylor. There are so many moments here that send shivers down my spine. The three-minute prayer for the UK is incredible, intense and unforgettable, and then there is Rex Allchurch's beautiful delicate worshipful "Kiss". The contrast doesn't matter because although this is an album of contrasts, the passion for Christ shines through especially on short spontaneous pieces like "Sufficiency" and "For Freedom" which are moving in their simplicity. 'Biography' is the sound of a fresh move of God, it's not pretty, it's not nice and smooth round the edges. In fact this is probably as far away from those nice worship albums you might have heard. Get passionate, get into this!
