Reviewed by Tony Cummings In truth, MercyMe have not quite been accepted by most rock fans, even those who enjoy the melodic pop rock end of things, due to their biggest ever hit being the country tinged "I Can Only Imagine" (a Marmite-type song which listeners find either moving or maudlin). But also in truth, this is the Texas group's best album for years, crammed as it is with well crafted songs of faith and worship and produced with considerable skill by Brown Bannister. Everything works in the arrangements from the soaring strings interplaying with the gutsy guitar parts through to Bart Millard's soulful tones. Four songs in particular stand out, "Goodbye Ordinary", "Time Has Come", "God With Us" and "My Heart Will Fly". If you haven't caught up yet with this 2007 release it's about time you did.
