Action For Happiness by Anthony Seldon

Launched in April 2011, the Action for Happiness Campaign aims to promote the social wellbeing of individuals, communities and, by extension, a nation. It recognises that material prosperity and collective happiness do not automatically go hand in hand and that the relational, emotional and spiritual aspects of lives are much more important.

This book sets out the case for focusing on happiness in society - personally and as a wider goal of social policy and the school curriculum, rather than as a mere by-product of GDP. Ten short chapters offer practical advice on how a range of simple steps can improve anyone's happiness. The author also explains his personal search for happiness.
