Those in the know may have already caught on to this quality line-up of talent at recent festivals. The Austin Francis Connection (AFC) combines the awesome forces of Jack Hobbs' artful beat boxing and Mark Finney's acoustic guitar genius. Edi Johnston, former Psalmistry front-man, churns out sophisticated and heart-felt lyrics. Check the uplifting "Can You See The Stars?" reminding us to look to God rather than give up on yourself. With the trustworthy programming skills of Piers Williamson (Vivid Prophet) on the production, this EP is a joy to listen to. AFC are set for big things and this quality slice of the cake will leave you begging for more. Bring on the album!
