Reviewed by Ian Hayter This is an album which grows on you. It's Mr Moore's second solo effort since the end of his collaboration with The Distance, and the sleevenotes refer to the "sweet voice of our new daughter Anna Grace." My first thought was "Beware of musicians with new babies!", but this is actually very good stuff. From the opening title track, with its shades of both U2 and Neil Diamond, the album exudes confidence and worship. There are some wonderfully mellow arrangements - not least "The Artist" with its accompaniment of acoustic guitar and French horns - and a couple of offerings which would not seem out of place on a Vineyard worship album, "All I Want" being among them. It is lyrically well written, musically well performed, and well produced by Brent Milligan: after four or five listens, I was hooked. Only two of the 11 tracks seemed below par - "God Believes In You" and the live "The Keeper" - and the photo inside the sleevenotes is remarkably cheesy (why spoil Jimmy Abegg's atmospheric painting with a photo of Geoff Moore blessing a field of weeds?). Overall, though, this is a fine album from a fine singer. More from Geoff MooreSee all...

i know some time has passed since this was released, but This is by far his best cd. God believes in you is a very good song, The KJeeper is a great classic. Ican't believe anyone would consider keeper(a signature song by Moore) to be called subpar. This album has no flaw.
