Abundant Life - How Loved (re-issue)

This album contains both the CD and DVD of the live worship session recorded in 2003 by Bradford's mega-church. These dozen or so songs are good examples of stirring worship with motivational themes such as finding fulfilment in God and proclaiming our devotion to God. I found a lyrical depth in some of the songs that raised them above the froth and bubble of many worship songs. The production team have put a lot of work into the recording and mixing of this impressive album. The "making of..." videos that accompany the DVD give some insight into the mixing afterwards - which was done in London's famous Abbey Road studios - and the construction of the purpose built stage. The production is not perfect but it is still remarkable as, even though some specialists were hired in, a lot of the work on cameras and PA was by volunteer church members. I trust that this CD and DVD will fulfil the purpose that they were made for - to bring these worship songs to a wider audience to be sung in the worship of God by congregations across the world.
