Mark Beswick & The Power Praise Worship Band - The King Is Coming

It’s heartening to see that Kingsway, Britain’s largest praise and worship orientated record company, are finally waking up to the fact that much of the most vital and dynamic worship on today’s church scene is emanating from black majority churches. This exciting album was recorded at Power Praise, the event which has grown from humble beginnings to become one of the most significant events in the UK. Fronted by one-time pop maestro Mark Beswick, the Power Praise Worship Band offer gospel-based worship songs of real quality. Both “My Help Welcome” and “O Holy Spirit” with their delicate piano and lush string arrangements are top quality. An album which will help worship break out of the increasingly formulaic pop rock format.
