With an angst ridden passion somewhere between Alanis Morrisette and Natalie Imbruglia, Rebecca St James delivers here a blistering collection of well crafted, well produced songs. In fact. it's hard to say what shines brightest in this dazzling array of talent. The quality of the material is strong, St James' vocals (both lead and background) are exquisitely dramatic and well judged, the guitar work of Charles Garratt and George Cochini is top drawer, whilst Tedd T gives a production lo die for. "Give Myself Away" and "I'll Carry You" are excellent, but the other nine songs are neck and neck in a set that stampedes the senses. This is an album which knows where it's going and gets there in overdrive...undoubted!) the artist's finest hour.
