Switzerland-based Eve Fisher's debut album at first sounds like Scriptures put to contemporary pop tunes. This glamorous young singer/songwriter with a penchant for green colour schemes makes a fairly good attempt to sing biblical truths in this well produced independent album. But it is not until the last few tracks that she comes into her own. I was most impressed by her collaboration with rap artist Phenom, aka Alan Yeboah, on "My Shepherd" producing a cut with a much more urban edge to it. This is followed by "We Come To You", a simple worship song which also caught my attention as I found Eve's singing immediately engaging me in worship. She then moves into a beautiful song "Dans L'Attente" performed in French. If these three had been an EP I would have given it a much higher rating. Nevertheless there does appear to be a lot of potential in this young songstress.
