According to Word Records, Amy Grant is the best selling Christian recording artist ever, 'My Father's Eyes' shows why the CCM star has received such accolades. EMI/Sparrow Records have produced a digitally remastered version of the 1979 album featuring songs like "Father's Eyes" - Grant's first Christian number one single (penned by her one-time husband, Gary Chapman), "Faith Walking People", the sweet encouraging "Lay Down (The Burden Of Your Heart)" with the lyrics "show your daddy where it hurts and let your daddy lift it", and finally the album ends with the acapella finger clicking "Keep It Going" which shows off Grant's timeless and distinctive vocals. This album is a great trip down memory lane. If you missed it the first time round or you'd just love an updated version then it's definitely worth a listen.
