Reviewed by Tony Cummings

In an age of identikit Christian bands aping the styles of mainstream chartmakers, thebandwithnoname explode in a heady stylistic cocktail that takes elements of hip hop, nu metal, dance and breakbeat to create a completely fresh, dynamically direct approach to communicting the old, old story. God's grace, revival, creation, the defeat of death, it's all packed in here in a series of head-spinning raps and songs over wickedly percussive rhythms. The band are a hugely talented threesome - experience the ballistic energy as Chip K rants and screams about how "words you spoke reverberated millenniums ago/Cut to my soul like a mole diggin' an invisible hole"; listen amazed as MC Presha comes on with some of the fastest, snappiest and jaw dropping raps and then, on "Faster", launches into some reggae toasting straight out of Trenchtown; swoon as The Bobsta brings his high, soulful singing tones to the primeval energy of the crunching tracks. Hard music buffs will love this, club music buffs will love this (particularly the two dance remixes countesy of Zarc Porter and Salivas at the close) and all followers of radical music ministry will love the fact that these guys have emerged to communicate the Gospel in a fresh and exciting way.
