Most readers will know that Irishman Keith is one of the greatest composers of modern hymns while his American-born wife is a pretty fine singer. Proceedings commence with the renowned "There Is A Higher Throne" and this, along with "In Christ Alone" provide familiarity early on. Opting out of communal vocals often found on such recordings, Kristyn Getty leads capably, capturing each note and word with the conviction deserved of such sentiments, with each hymn possessing the required simplicity for congregational integration. Stylistically differing from the collective feel "Hear The Call Of The Kingdom", placed midway through the recording, comes tinged with gospel and blues underlining the couples' variation, high musicianship and standard of writing that can be heard throughout. Noted as the concluding song at the Getty's live evenings is the stripped down and simply outstanding bonus track "Don't Let Me Lose My Wonder" allowing for gentle reflection. This has been a BIG UK Christian retail seller and deserves its success.
